Bringing productivity to the frontline
We worked with Propbinder to extend their property management platform into a mobile experience—designed specifically for the operators keeping buildings running day to day. These users spend their time moving between properties, solving on-site issues, and coordinating with teams. A desktop-first experience wasn’t cutting it.
Our goal was to give them a tool that fits their workflow: simple, intuitive, and fast. The app needed to handle everything from tracking tasks and hours to communicating with tenants and colleagues. All in a few taps.
Speed and quality in three weeks
The brief came with a tight deadline. We had three weeks to design a high-impact app, ready for development. That meant keeping momentum high without compromising on quality.
We also had to rethink the experience from the ground up. The mobile use case was different—shorter sessions, quick interactions, and limited context. Every screen had to be focused, functional, and easy to navigate in the field.
Co-designing with users and leadership
We built on what we already knew from designing Propbinder’s main platform. That existing knowledge gave us a head start, but we still ran user interviews to better understand operator-specific needs.
From there, we prototyped key features and refined them through quick iterations. Once flows were locked, we created a dedicated mobile component library and synced closely with the development team to ensure a smooth handoff and tight execution.
A field-ready app for operational workflows
The result is a mobile app now used daily by hundreds of operators. It simplifies everyday tasks, reduces admin work, and helps teams stay coordinated across multiple properties.
By designing with real workflows in mind, we delivered something that’s both easy to use and genuinely useful. The product continues to evolve with new features and refinements, driven by direct feedback from the people using it on the ground.
It’s now an essential part of the Propbinder experience—bringing operational efficiency to where it matters most: in the field.
