Redefining tool management with sharper UX and stronger branding
ToolTracker is a Proptech SaaS platform designed to simplify how companies manage, track, and locate their equipment across job sites. With a growing customer base and increasing product demands, ToolTracker needed a more refined user experience and a visual identity that reflected the maturity and ambition of the product.
Our objective was to elevate both the UX and creative direction of the platform—creating a more intuitive product experience while establishing a cohesive and professional brand presence that could scale.
Designing fast, without cutting corners
We had just two weeks to overhaul the product experience and redefine the brand. That meant our process had to be tightly focused and highly collaborative. At the same time, ToolTracker’s existing platform had usability gaps and an inconsistent visual language that made the product feel less robust than it actually was.
The challenge was to move quickly without compromising on quality. We needed to align with stakeholders, sharpen the product’s interaction model, and introduce a brand identity that felt both practical and distinct within the competitive Proptech space.
Rapid iteration, guided by clarity
We kicked off with a focused design sprint, working closely with ToolTracker’s stakeholders to prioritise the most impactful areas of improvement. We audited the current interface to identify patterns that were inconsistent or unclear, and proposed streamlined alternatives.
Visually, we developed a new brand identity—introducing a bold yet minimal logo, accessible typography, and a refined colour system. These elements were designed to enhance readability, guide user flow, and bring a more professional tone to the overall product.
On the UX side, we reworked navigation, simplified key workflows, and created a component-based design system to support development handoff and future scalability. This system gave the internal team a structured, reusable set of elements to maintain consistency across updates.
A more confident product, ready to grow
The result is a reimagined ToolTracker platform that’s both visually cohesive and functionally stronger. The new brand identity positions ToolTracker as a more established and trustworthy player in the Proptech market—while the improved UX makes the product faster, easier, and more enjoyable to use.
Thanks to the component-based system and clear design documentation, the ToolTracker team can now build, test, and launch new features with greater efficiency.
What began as a fast-paced redesign turned into a strategic refresh that gives ToolTracker the tools it needs to scale—with a clearer identity, stronger user experience, and a design system built for long-term success.
